Challenging Negative Thoughts
1. Staying in the Present Moment
If you are reflecting on the past, you have a tendency to slip back into the past and unravel the emotions that have once been abandoned or left in the past. Sitting with the feeling is key and letting it wash over you knowing that it can't hurt you anymore. If you revisit the past, make sure you ground and shield up, before opening up and keep your conscious thoughts and awareness in the present moment.
2. Are you out of your mind? Challenging the thoughts that seek to cause you disturbance and comunication is key to a resolution of the awareness of self.
3. Breathing - Deep breaths in and out help you to relax and inhale all the good energies like peace, love, relaxation and exhale all the bad like tensions, stress, headachey vibes, etc.
4. Be aware of your thoughts ~ Be aware of your thoughts and awareness, if you are on the verge of a negative meltdown, touch base with source and try to get out of your head. Do what neeeds is best, showering helps clear the old vibes away, reiki shower, also via guided meditation, building it like a muscle to be put into a good habit would help and assist, understand what triggers you in the process of things, and writing stuff down always helps as it gets you out of your head.
5. Talk to someone - a close friend, or counsellor, or a confidant, a healer. Talking helps as well banish away any negative thoughts or intentions to harm yourself or another.
6. Practice self care and gratitude - self care and pamper yourself, gratitude for you, self care and pep talks to yourself, boost your self esteem and self confidence up.
